Car description |
---|
This is a real Z22 Rally Sport Camaro that came from the factory loaded with some pretty rare options. It has power windows, fold down rear seat, and much more. One of the best points to this car is that it has not been through any kind of restoration since its creation. So you won't find any patch panels, no corners cut, no unforeseeable headaches. If this is your first time building a car, please consult with a body shop that specializes in working on collector cars. Please do so before pursuing this endeavor. They should be able to tell you what kind of time frame you'll be looking at as well as cost and most importantly, the importance of starting with a fresh and unmolested pallet.
Now this Camaro is complete minus a transmission. I'm including a 350 that will require a rebuild. Within the trunk of this Camaro, you will find the RS headlight setup. The body of this car has a lot of solid points. It has solid frame rails both front and back. The tail panel, surrounding deck lip, rear sail panel, roof, rockers, firewall, cowl, A-pilars, windshield surround, it is all solid. It will need floors, a trunk pan, and quarters. The quarters themselves could be saved depending on the quality of the restoration you're looking to do. The interior is complete.
Here is a break down on the cowl tag:
11C = Built the Third week of November.
67-12637 = Custom Interior Coupe.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
765 = Custom Black Bucket Seats.
Y = (AS2) Buckets and Head Rest.
L-2 = Lower Color is Tahoe Turquoise and the Vinyl Top Color is Black.
Options:
1W = (A02) Tinted W/S only
1X = (A31) Power Windows
1L = (A67) Fold-down rear seat
2M = (M35) Powerglide Transmission
2G = (D55) Console front compartment
2U = (U57) Tape Player
3B = (C50) Defogger rear window
3D = (U29) Courtesy Lamp
3L = (Z22) Rally Sport Package
4F = (D33) Mirror Remote Control
5B = (V32) Rear Large Bumper Guards
5Y = (A39) Belts All Deluxe
I would like nothing more than to see someone who genuinely loves this car, restoring it. I do have a clean & clear title (no liens, non salvage, etc.) for this Camaro. If you need assistance with shipping, please let me know and I will gladly get you some quotes. A typical rule of thumb to go by is for every thousand miles, you can look at spending around $5-600. If you have any questions, concerns, or if you would like photos of any specific areas, please don't hesitate to ask. My phone is typically on me, day or night. Have a great day! :)
