You are looking at a 1956 Chevy 3100 pick-up truck. This truck was once a farm truck from Kentucky, that was purchased and brought to New York. It was frame off restored from 2014 to 2016. This truck was transformed into a bad ass resto mod!!! It has ice cold A/C, power steering, and power disc brakes. It has a 300 horsepower 350 small block Chevy that runs amazing. It has a complete new front end with independent suspension, and it handles more like a Corvette then a farm truck. The body was rust free, and was taken down to bare metal and re-finished with an amazing silver metallic paint job, with a satin finish. It is not shiny, it is satin, and is supposed to look this way. The dash board, interior, firewall, and engine compartment are painted the same silver, but they were clear coated with shiny clear, unlike the exterior that is satin clear. The firewall was smoothed, as were the inner fenders. The body is super straight, with no damage. The engine compartment is amazing, and show quality. I have put about 7500 miles on it since restoration, and the truck has been sorted out. Everything works, and I drive it often. It does have a couple of small chips and flaws in the paint from use, it is not perfect, but nothing major. It turns heads, everyone loves the truck. There is no rust or rot anywhere, chassis is clean as a whistle, and straight. Everything is clean and painted underneath, it is mint. All of the exterior chrome is new, new front and rear bumpers, grille, headlight bezels, parking lights, tail lights, bumper brackets, etc. all new. The "Chevrolet" on the tailgate was custom air brushed by a local artist, and looks amazing. Please see the pics.
The motor is a brand new 350 crate motor from GM Performance, and we added a mild Lunati Camshaft, Weiand aluminum intake manifold, new Edelbrock 600 carb with electric choke, HEI distributor, GM Performance valve covers, new ceramic coated long tube headers, full 2 1/2" custom exhaust system with 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers. It also has a brand new Vintage Air Front Runner accessory set up, which includes a Mechman 140 amp alternator, aluminum water pump, late model GM type 2 power steering pump, new style Sanden A/C compressor, and all anodized black billet brackets. It is the nicest accessory set-up I have ever seen on a small block Chevy. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for. All of the wiring and the A/C hoses and heater hoses were hidden for that killer clean look. It has a polished aluminum Be Cool radiator, and a Vintage Air high flow electric fan kit, with an automatic temp controller. The cooling system works perfect, the hottest it gets is 190 on a hot day with the A/C cranking in the cab. The transmission is a completely re-built TH350 with a custom built 2600 RPM stall converter, that was built for us by Pro Torque converters, on Long Island. I had the transmission shop add a shift kit and a billet pan when they built the unit for me. It shifts perfect, not too hard, just right. The drive shaft is new and was custom made for this truck. The motor runs amazing, great oil pressure, tons of power, no smoke, or noises.
The rear end is a fully custom made Moser Engineering 12 bolt axle, that I had made specifically for this truck, to my dimensions. It has an Eaton locker posi carrier, Moser high strength axles, 3.08 gear ratio, and an aluminum T/A girdle cover. Again, expensive, but the right way to build the truck in my opinion. The rear leaf springs and shackles are all new, and it has new KYB high performance shocks. The front straight axle and leaf springs were removed, and the front frame rails were prepped, and boxed. A Mustang II inspired front end kit was installed, with independent upper and lower tubular control arms, coil springs, and KYB shocks. It has a killer quick ratio power steering rack also. The truck drives and handles amazing, and the stance is just right! It does not have air bags, I hate air bags, it always looks this good, and drives even better. The wheels are new chrome smoothie's with all new high quality BFGoodrich tires. It also has an incredible set of train horns installed, they are crazy loud, and lots of fun.
The interior is all redone, all upholstered in black cloth, the dash is show quality, smooth and painted base coat, clear coat. It has a custom analogue gauge cluster with modern style gauges. I added a tachometer under the dash, I felt it needed that, it does match the other gauges. It has a modern radio with i pod hook up, a 200 watt amplifier, and killer speakers in the doors, sounds great. I also added a 12 volt accessory port. It has Vintage Air and heat, both work amazing, it gets chilly in there! It has a new Ididit steering column, and a custom Flaming River steering wheel. New carpets were installed also.
If you are looking for a killer driveable hot rod pick-up, check this one out. I have a ton of money in this thing, and I won't give it away, it's too nice, and I do not need to sell it. I have a collection of classic cars, and have my eye on something else I want to buy. This truck needs nothing. Turn the key and enjoy. The mileage will be a little higher then what it says now, I drive it often and enjoy it. If I get a deposit, I will stop driving it. It is adult owned and garage kept. Please check my perfect feedback, and bid with confidence. If you want to see the truck, please message me, and we will set it up. Thank you!!!
