Handsome restoration of this all steel 1936 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Truck! Truck started life as a 1 1/2 ton hay truck in Oregon and was found sitting in the barn where it had been for over 30 years! This truck is absolutely rust free and has zero patch panels in it. Original truck chassis was modified with the rear section of a 1989 Chevrolet C10. S10 rear suspension and axle, 3.08 gear ratio. Front part of chassis is original with a Heidts Mustang Two front end, coil springs, disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering. Chassis sits on body color Artillery wheels and Chevrolet hubcaps and trim rings. Engine is a 1989 350, runs solid, Edelbrock intake and carb, block hugger headers, 2.5" dual exhaust, Turbo 350 transmission. Body was completely taken apart and stripped down to metal. A 1936 bed was located and is fitted with 1937 rear fenders. Bed is finished with a unique iron wood and stainless steel straps. An antique pick up tool box was restored and mounted towards the front of the bed and is an excellent addition to this classic truck! Fuel tank is frame mounted and fills in the rear of the bed. Body was painted cobalt blue, black fenders and running boards, and a timeless red stripe to set it all off! The interior suits truck very nicely and amazingly the dashboard and inner doors are all factory paint! The leather seat cover was in such nice condition that we carefully removed it, fixed all the springs and frame, used all new foam and padding and then reinstalled the cover. Not sure if it's the factory cover but the upholstery guy did make the comment "this is one old leather seat". Gauges are original rebuilt with all new faces. Steering column is a GM tilt with shifter. All the wiring is new with a painless harness. I am a new Ebay user and started this account to sell my truck. The truck is Located in Seattle Washington and could be arranged for viewing. If you have any questions please feel free to email or I can also send you my phone number. Thanks and happy bidding on this beautiful Classic Truck!
