This auction is for a 1951 Chevrolet 3100 2WD flat bed truck. The running boards end at the back of the cabwhich only were included on chassismanufactured to be a flat bed truck. The truck was restored in the early 80's, a Ford straight 6 250ci engine with a C4 transmission was transplanted into the truck during the restoration. It has a Ford 9" rear end for the rear axle. It hasa factory straight axle with converted roller bearings for the front axle with drum brakes. There is an original(not a repop)Fulton visor on the truck andall of thealuminum/chrome trim is complete, original, and in excellent condition. The interior of the truck is in fair condition and has been started to be updated, it has a bench seat from an early 90's GM truck, a brand new B&M Star shifter, shortened steering column. The auctionalso includesa complete dash with gauges due to the fact someone hacked the factory one up. The front floor boards will need to be replaced at some point but is not necessary to operate the truck and the rear boards are solid. The truck runs and drives and has a valid Wisconsin reconstructed title. I'm currently driving it to and from work daily. The truck is listed for sale locally as well.
