This Monaco Orange matching-numbers 1969 Chevelle SS is a must for any collection. Having recently completed a full concourse restoration, everything on the car is new or refurbished. The vehicle has been driven very few miles since resoration. The matching-numbers turbo-jet 396 motor pushes 325 horsepower and is paired with a 400 turbo hydromatic transmission. All brightwork and trim on this Chevelle is new or has been restored. The black vinyl top color is carried through to the black vinyl interior with a black accent stripe which run the length of the vehicle. The impeccable SS wheels ride on correct Goodyear Polyglass belted tires. There is no hesitation when seeing this Chevelle that is represents the very best in concours restoration.
In 1969, the Chevelle was billed as, "America's Most Popular Mid-Sized Car". The SS was no longer a trim level but instead an option and true Chevelle enthusiasts immediately chose to add the optional package to their purchases. This option, aside from the 396 motor, gave the Chevelle several notable enahncements including a double-domed hood, black-out grill and black rear panel - all areas designed to enhance the notable SS badging.
