Car description |

This is a fully restored 1975 Chevy Blazer Custom Deluxe with only 15K on the rebuild. I am the third owner (the last owner had it for 28 years and I have a copy of the original title to prove it/picture shown). This was his pride and joy and he put massive amounts of money making it pristine again. The engine was rebuilt, all new metal, sandblasted/coated frame, new paint (and decals), new interior (new carpet, new, new matching sun visors, new dash, new panels, new seats, besides the original back bench seat, which is in amazing condition), new grill, new bumpers, new top (with a sunroof), new tires, new rims, new brakes, new weather stripping, new mirrors, new door handles, it looks like the steering wheel and seat belts are new, but I am not 100% on that.
All the lights and electronics work including the AM/FM radio. The Blazer is 99.5% rust free and the paint is also 9+ condition. The vehicle's lines are straight and it also runs straight (i.e. no pulling and it has tight steering). The windows all roll up and down smooth, including the rear window. He also lightly tinted the back windows. I can't tell if the roll bar is new or used, but it is factory correct from my experience.
The engine starts strong after one kick of the gas petal, it runs and shifts smooth, and sounds amazing. The 4X4 engages and is strong. I drove the Blazer 3 hours to bring it home (Moline to Des Moines). It runs 75mph smoothly and never once came close to overheating.
It also comes with a tow hitch, a bug visor for the hood (never installed), new spare tire, mud flaps (I didn't remove them, but you could).
It does have a very slight oil leak from the differential.
This vehicle is "sold as is". Please view the pictures and let me know if you need any additional pictures (I will take any close-up pictures you need to see, eBay only allows 24 or I would have added many, many more). This vehicle is truly THAT NICE. If you came and saw it in person you would buy it immediately. I will also take it to any mechanic of your choice (in the Des Moines area, of course) if you are a serious buyer and are paying for the inspection.
Please note my perfect eBay feedback ratings and that I have been a member for over 10 years. I am not a dealer, but I buy a very few, rare or amazing vehicles. Please check my feedback on my other vehicles (100% positive). Buy with confidence.
This vehicle turns heads and gets enthusiastic thumbs-up when cruising (and I haven't even taken the top off yet, and don't plan to, unless it doesn't sell on this particular auction). These are meant to be topless!!!
I uploaded a few digital pictures (of his actual camera pictures) of the full restoration.
I have a clean, clear title transferred in my name. I will also send all the pictures of the restoration, associated paperwork, copy of the original title, etc.
Finally, I can't stress how nice this vehicle is. Good luck bidding. If it doesn't sell, I am going to pop the top and enjoy it for the rest of the summer. As of now, it is detailed and stored in a climate controlled garage. It even has that "new car" smell. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 1975 Chevy Blazer anywhere (they don't come along often).
