I have a real nice 83 4x4 truck with 42,000 original miles on it. I know this sounds unlikely but from the info I got from the second owner and the way the truck runs and drives I believe it to be true. I have a copy of the title that I got when bought it that shows 37,000 (actual miles) 3 years ago. Its a 305 V-8 with 3 speed manual trans with granny gear. Starts right up and runs and drives great. All gauges work, 4x4 works good, Has new duel exhaust, and has an after market stereo in it. Very solid truck, It has been painted at some point and has faded but I think still looks good. Interior is alright it has sat for long periods of time with windows up so dash is cracked up,( I put a dash cover on it)as well as the rubber floor mat, seat has a tear where you get in and out like they all do. As far as rust not bad at all for a 34 year old truck, floors are solid, rockers are goo, it did have a hole about the size of a quarter in the pass side rocker where debris collected over the years that I fixed. No rust at all in Bed. I put the wheels and tires on it and the tires will need to be replaced soon.
