Car description |
---|
You are bidding on a 1969 Camaro with NO RESERVE. The car needs to be restored and is being sold as a "Project Car". The car does not have a motor or transmission. (I do have a running period correct complete straight 6cyl Turbo-Thrift 155hp motor, clutch, bellhouse, etc. and 3 speed transmission that is available for $500 additional). I have owned this Camaro since 1987 and had it restored. I never registered it and then went away to college, started work and as they say "The rest is history". I don't have the time to restore it and I would like to find a good home for her. Someone who has the time to give her the attention she deserves and to get her on the road to enjoy. The car comes with a ton of parts (see pictures) and even an brand new/never used trunk lid. All the major parts are there but she does need bodywork. There is no rear window as a branch fell on the roof and made a dent and shattered the glass.(see pictures). The trunk is sold with the exception of a quarter size hole (see picture). Almost every part you would need to complete her is available from numerous Camaro parts distributors such as Rick's Camaro, Classic Industries, Ground Up, Year One, etc. Buyer is responsible for picking up the car within 7 days as I cannot ship. You will need a trailer and I will assist in any way I can to help load her up. Since I never registered the car, the car will come with a Q-1 form. Per CT law, any vehicle over 20 years does not require a title and only requires the buyer and seller to complete a Q-1 form, which I will provide. Please check your state DMV requirements if you are not planning on registering the car in CT as I am only familiarwith CT DMV requirements.
I added some additional photos of the trunk, windshield, trim plate, and underside.
- If a vehicle is over 20 model years old, a Connecticut title will not be required to sell a vehicle. If title is not available, aSupplemental Assignment of Ownership form(Form Q-1)can be completed in full to indicate the buyer and the seller. http://www.ct.gov/dmv/cwp/view.asp?a=816&q=244692
