Car description |

Take a trip back in time with this restored 1946 Chevrolet CK 3100, its distinctive re-chromed art deco "Wurlitzer" design grille. Crank open the windshield and listen to the clatter of a rebuilt 1954 235 cu. in. inline 6 cylinder with solid lifter camshaft. This was the first year this motor came with a pressurized oil system. It retains the 3 speed stick driving a rebuilt 3:55 rear end. Repainted Chevrolet Red, fitted with tubular chrome bumpers, refurbished interior, new Oak finished bed and chromed wheels give this truck its unique look. The electrical system was converted to 12volts. All gauges, wiper, brakes, emergency brake are all fully functional.
What I found unique was how effective the 'crank open' windshield could be, the amount of air is fantastic but it does not blow in your face and is easily adjusted. Rather it is forced up and around you feeling perfect. Combined with the cowl vent for your feet, they work perfectly. There is also a courtesy light under the dash and a modern steering wheel. Turn signals have been added as well. The truck also includes a stack of receipts from the last twenty years, along with a 1946 owners manual.
Vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition and sold with no warranties expressed or implied.

The odometer reads 04842.0 but of course I have no idea of the original mileage on this vehicle.
