Car description |
---|
The car currently sits with 64,335 miles. It is a numbers matching car and the engine has never been removed from the car. I have the build sheet. It has the N-90 wheels, 3.08 axle, air conditioning, ... truthfully there is more on that sheet than I know what means.
The engine/transmission/rear-end, etc. have never been out of the car. The engine itself looks untouched.
In the 90's, the following changes were made to the car:
Replaced the radio Added speakers in the door Changed the headliner to a "plush" looking fabric. The shelf behind the back seat was done as well. The car had a single repaint in the 90's at "the best local body shop in his town". Problems with the car:
Windshield wipers quit working in 2016. After washing the car I turned them on as I usually do, they worked for about 1 minute then stopped. The tachometer needle doesn't move. It was like this when I purchased the car. I bought a gauge cluster with a 130 speedometer in beautiful condition that I was going to swap until I realized that I would lose the odometer reading if I did it. I wasn't sure if I could just swap the tachometer, so I did nothing. The air conditioning isn't cold. Per the second owner, it worked fine for years refrigerant leaks over time and eventually got too low to for it to work. The interior looks really nice but it's not perfect. There are some scratches and marks on the interior pieces in the back seat - you can see in the photos at the link below. The drivers seat has a tear/worn edge on the back rest. The car is a pleasure to drive. It starts, stops, drives, steers, shifts, etc. perfectly. I owned one of these cars in high school and this one runs just as good as that one did all those years ago.
The car comes with a high quality car cover that I store the car under inside my garage.
Questions are welcome. You are also welcome to check out the car in person before you did.
Lots more pictures here at the link below. Some of the photos were taken when I bought the car in Maine, others were taken when I received the car and the rest were taken an hour ago.

To answer a few questions:
The engine is a 350 cu and the carburetor is 4BBL. Check out the pictures at the link to see the pictures of the casting numbers on block, VIN, transmission, carburetor, rear-end, A/C compressor, and so on.
This car is untouched with the exception of the few interior changes I mentioned.
This is a solid, rust free car. The car had the same owner from 1983 until 2015. He only put 30k miles on it over that time, and he kept the car covered inside his garage when not in use just as I do now.
