This is a 1957 Bel Air sedan. 2 door Chevrolet body. This was found in a barn in December 2014 and still has fresh owl poop and raccoon footprints on the roof and trunk lid. The last time this car was licensed was 1995. and has been sitting in this barn ever since. The former owner proceeded to take the car apart in hopes of restoring it. and got as far as you see in the pictures. He ended up in bad health and was unable to finish it. I have gone through everything and this car is a complete body. Bumpers are nice. and it has a station wagon back bumper with bumper guards. The Bel Air chrome that runs around the post is all there and a couple of the little tabs are broke off. but not all of them. The Bel Air panels are there. and are in nice shape. The driver side floor has a little rot in it. but I believe this can be replaced and not have to do a whole floor board on this. The rockers are solid. It does have the appearance of a lower quarter on the passenger side. between the tire well and the passenger door that has been replaced and a decent job done. I don't know how rare it is. but this 57 has factory windshield washer. with a button inside the windshield wiper knob. And it is showing accessory 6 on the body tag. The car has rally wheels and all the caps and beauty rings are there. The windows are all in very good shape. One of the back ones is in the floor board and one is in the right spot. but not in the track since the track is broken. The front and rear windshields are in really nice shape. Car has seats. The backseat can be seen in the pix. the front seats are bucket seats. and I think they're out of a 65-67 Chevelle. due to low-back. Trunk is solid. Appears that there has been a little work to the tail pan but from what I can see. it was a pretty good job. If you hurry and put this back together we could see you in August at the Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green. KY! These 57 Bel Air Sedans are getting harder and harder to find. This is a good car that does not need a long time to finish and can be on the road pretty quickly. Winning bidder must make Paypal deposit of $1000 within 24 hours of auction end. Balance must be paid within 7 days before car can be picked up. or cash on pick up. As long as car is paid for within the 7 days. a time-frame for pick up of car is negotiable. I am also willing to deliver the car with my trailer @ $1. 50 per mile. if your location is within 4 hours of my location. Items hauled on my trailer are not insured. so if you want to insure it before I leave with it. you may. If interested in a 55 Chevy. give me a call. I am a legit bodyshop owner. and would be willing to restore this car for you as well. We can talk! Eight one two. seven seven four. zero three seven six. Happy Bidding!
