Selling my 1972 Chevy Nova. UNDERSTAND THIS CAR IS A ROLLER WITH NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION!! CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE. CAR IS LOCATED IN 81211, COLORADO!! Sorry about some of the lighting in the pics. If you want better or more pics please message me. I work days with no phone access but promise you I will get whatever you want. Now thats out of the way lets talk about the car!!
Car was originally a 350/300HP car with a TH350 transmission and factory front disc brakes from California. Car is NO A/C car and has factory power steering. It was originally manual brakes but has been changed to power brakes. Car has lived in California its whole life and was in enclosed storage in Pomona for the last 20+ years but did run when I bought it several months ago. Have changed my mind on projects now and have decided to build a Jeep....I live in Colorado.....
The man I purchased it from had changed all the interior to black so it is mostly new and in VERY good shape. New seat covers, headliner, carpet, etc. The carpet does need to be pulled out and layed in the sun for it to lay correctly, seats bolted down and cluster reinstalled. I just redid the air/heat controls with new clips and bezel and they work as they should. Glass is in excellent shape and windows all roll down as they should. I have a new headlight switch and knob. The car had new 2.25" dual exhaust installed some years ago before it was put in storage and is in great shape other than some surface rust. Has H-pipe and some sort of turbo mufflers. The trunk is full of extra parts including all new weather stripping, door seals, felts, door sill plates, etc. Car has new calipers and pads on front and new brake lines. I do have the passenger side rally caps and rings that are just like the driver side....only installed drivers side for pics so they stay new looking. Tires will need to be replaced.
As for rust on the car the ONLY thing that is rusted through is tye small areas about the size of a tennis ball on both front lower fenders. One small hole about tue size of a quarter in rear drivers floor board and I believe it to have had a drivers rear quarter panel put on sometime in its life.....there is some filler poking through as you can see. The trunk upper window ledge is SOLID as well as the lower trunk ledge. The passenger quarter is 100% along with the rest of the floors and the rest of the car for that matter. There are a couple of dings here and there.
Your chance to own a clean, almost rust free California Nova. I do have a 5.3L LS engine from an 04 Tahoe that I was planning to add along with a 4L80E transmission. These are NOT INCLUDED IN THE LISTING OR PRICE BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY but message me and we can discuss them. Im asking $1750 for the pair. Motor is ready to go along with the tranny. Motor had 84k miles on it and the tranny had 120k on it.
NO trades or help selling needed. Sold as is, where is....no warranty. Im located in Buena Vista, CO.....do your homework on location before you bid. Take a vacation to the mountains and take home the Nova. I can provide assistance loading. Thanks for looking. If you want a specific picture shoot me a message. I REQUIRE $500 PAYPAL PAYMENT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION END AND THE REST IN CASH UPON YOUR ARRIVAL. I WILL WORK WITH SELLER ON PICKUP BUT DONT THINK I WILL HOLD IT FOR A MONTH FOR YOU TO COME GET IT!!!!! Im very easy to get along with and this will be a trouble free sale if you do your homework first!

I worded my original ad wrong. When I got the Nova it had an L88 350 Chevy from a 69 Camaro in it and what I believe to be the original TH350 transmission to the Nova. The Nova is a FACTORY 350 car but no where near 300 HP. We all know what happened to HP in the early 70's!! Im sorry if this caused any confusion. The L88 engine and TH350 are not available.....they were both pulled and sold after I purchased the car. The driveshaft is still under the car and I do have the radiator and power steering pump.
On Jul-01-17 at 11:36:40 PDT, seller added the following information:In previous update I added it was an L88 engine.....thats a big block. I fat fingered it and meant to type L48. Thanks for the fella that brought this to my attention!
