Up for sale is a 1960 El Camino Big Block car, 3 speed (overdrive) on the tree, with the original 4:11 gears. The car was purchased missing the engine and transmission. Original white car with blue and silver vinyl, bench seat (no seat) interior. Car needs interior floor pan (reproduction pan available). Frame rails are excellent, rear quarters need lower patch panels with the rest of the body in really nice shape. Body glass needs a replacement for being 55 years old AND is available from Isanti Minnesota for about $600. This is an early built El Camino. Buyer will receive a Bill of Sale. I have a nice, 348 big block, standard bore, that goes with this car along with a custom rebuilt-worked set of 409 #333 heads ($2000). Hard to find set of heads, 409, with pocketed ports, valve seats machined for better valve seals and valve springs, etc., super hard to find modified like these! I have a low mile, rebuilt 4:11 positraction, ZOOM gears rear-end with the Mr. Gasket shim ring for easy change-over. I have a new clutch disc and pressure plate for this car, along with the shift linkage and clutch fork. I have a period correct, 348 - 409 RC racing bell-housing for this car which only weighs 7 lbs. more than stock. I have a re-chromed horn ring and AM radio too. I have an extra super nice tailgate from Nevada and a GENERATOR-Power steering combined pump unit! (hard to find!) I have other projects so I must clean out the shed.... These big block cars are the ones that carry the $$$. I have $4,900 in these parts not including the rolling car chassis. The vehicle will be sold with a bill-of-sale. No title.
