~Rare Frost White and Mahogany color combo~Rust Free California Squarebody Short Bed~Highly optioned Silverado~5.7L 350 GM Crate Motor~New Transmission
NO RESERVE AUCTION
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1985 Chevrolet K10 Silverado. The 1985 Silverado was the beginningof the end for an era of General Motors trucks that will forever be considered classics, the popular 73-87 "square body" body style. This Chevy short-bedis a very solid example of a 4 wheel drive square bodywhich are increasingly getting harder to find especiallyin this highly optioned condition. The Frost White paint looks stunning and gives this rig a clean look. The rare Mahoganyinterior contrast the White exterior very nicely. It is hard to find one of these this solid underneath the body, there is no rust spots and a lot of the original under paintis still visible. This truck makes a statement when it pulls up; combiningthe original classic body. It is sitting on an 2.5 inch lift with Rancho shocks and leaf springs with the original 15 inch rally wheels wrapped in 35" Pro Comp M/T tires. The original 305cid V8 boat anchor motor was replaced with a GM crate 350cid V8. The transmission has been replaced along with a single Flowmaster exhaust, otherwise this truck is a very original classic Squarebody. This truck runs strong with plenty of power for its size. The classic square bodyera of General Motors trucks are timeless and some of the most popular trucks of all time. Due to increasingly limited supply of good rust free examples the value of these 4x4 trucks are rapidly going up and becoming more and more collectible. It is not often you find a 32 year old truck this clean and unmolested at a price set by the buyer. Don't miss out on this opportunityto own classic Squarebody.
Cosmetically this rig is trulya one of a kind that is in fantastic shape. The truck has been resprayed in the original Frost White with higher quality 2 stage paint job. It's a very straight truck. All the panels line up nicely with no dings or dents. The underneath looks awesome for a 4x4 truck. There is no rust holes or really even any dirt. The transfer case and transmission look great, again things that are not typical of a 32 year old 4x4 truck. All the chrome bumpers shine beautifully are do not have dents.
The Interior of this truck matches the condition of the exterior. Again, Mahogany was a rare color to find inside of a Chevy truck. The original Silverado door panels look great however the driver's side is missing the handle. All the gauges work even the clock. The dash looks good but there is a small crack. The seat has been reupholstered and essentially looks new. The original carpet looks great, no rips or spots.
Mechanically this truck has been very well maintained that runs and drives great. The original 305 was replaced with a 350 GM crate motor. The motor runs good and has no issues. The 700r4 transmission has been replaced and shifts excellent in all gears and reverse. The truck shifts out of 4 wheel drive with ease.
