Car description |

Selling my fathers 1993 40th Anniversary Chevy Corvette. We bought this car brand new from Porter Chevrolet in Cambridge Massachusetts and it was his daily driver up until he retired in 1999. He drove it from Bedford MA to Malden MA every day for work and that's about it. On his last day of work he literally pulled it into his heated 2 car garage and parked it and there it's sat until today.
He's now 82 and it's long past due that we sell it. This car has NEVER been raced, never seen the track, never been abused, never driven hard and probably never seen red line. It's in great condition with the usual wear you'd find on a vehicle with 76K miles.
I did try to start it last year and it didn't start, turned out to be a frozen fuel pump. I replaced the entire pump assembly, put in fresh gas and it started right up. After letting it warm up for a bit I drove it around the block a few times (it doesn't have a plate) and it runs and drives excellent, just like it did back in 1999.
The tires are the second set the cars ever had, Goodyear Eagle GS-C 275/40ZR17. They are about 80% worn and I suggest replacement not only due to wear but also due to age. The car will also need an A/C recharge because well it's hasn't been used in 15 years and the freon is depleted. In it's current condition it's a turn key go car that needs nothing more.
This car has NEVER been in an accident, not even a bump. Always been properly maintained to factory specs. This is a great car. Hard to find a 1993 AnniversaryEdition Corvette that's been stored for 15 years in this condition.
Local pick up is preferred (vehicle is stored in Bedford Massachusetts zip code 01730). If vehicle needs to be shipped the buyer will arrange the shipping.
