1950 Chevrolet Tin Woody
You are viewing a very nice tin woody that had a body on frame restoration 8 years ago. Under 5K miles driven since completed. The car was purchased in Seattle Washington and spent all of its life in Washington State. The restoration started with a complete car in over good condition with minor rust. Low original miles at 65K. 3rd owner. The wagon comes with a perfect Bongo Perkins long board that was air brushed.
Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint: The body was in really good shape to begin with. Minor body work needed to be addressed. Original visor. The body is straight with Bourdieu wine (Burgundy) base/clear with gold micro sequence. Paint is nice and shows well with a few small chips.
Interior: The interior is primarily original restored with the exception of the vinyl used on the seats and headliner and carpet. The oak on the beltline in the interior is original to the car and restored. Mahogany door panels are new replacements. Radio/single CD player with amp 4 speakers. Fuel gauges dash mounted. Odometer and speedo work with E brake disconnected. No PS or brakes. Electric wipers.
Running Gear: 66 GMC pickup industrial 261 six cylinder rebuilt. Pusher electric fan. Split exhaust with original carb. Original restored radiator. Transmission is a TH350 with plate adaptor. Rear end is out of a Chevrolet S10 pickup. All in good operational order.
Suspension: Stock, rebuilt or replaced in good working order.
Bright work: All bright work was redone or replaced. Looks very nice.
Glass: All replaced with tint.
Exhaust: Dueled with glass packs and vintage tips.
Brakes: New Master cylinder with stock restored drum brakes.
Wheels/Tires: Chrome steelies with moons. Radial Coker Classics 205/75/16
Summary: Good car that drives and runs good. I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price so why build when you can enjoy today.
