Car description

I have a 1978 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that is about 95% original with a clean NY title. This car is perfect for a restoration or hot rod. This car is quite rare due to the fact that it is a factory black car with a factory white interior. It has white vinyl bench seats in the front and back. The car has been in storage from 1994 until about 2015. To be completely honest the previous owner put a kinda crappy vinyl wrap on it. Definitely not my taste, but it looks good in pictures and not too bad in person. I looked up the VIN and it's factory black. The door jambs, bottom of the aluminum trunk lid, side view mirrors are all black. In short the car definitely needs a paint job. It has very minor rust. I can send you pictures of any part of the car you want. All body mounts are in place even the ones behind the rear tires. I have owned a few of these year cars and this is exceptionally clean. The only rust to speak of is the front header pannel by the battery. I assume some battery acid must have gotten on it years ago because the hood and everything around it is mint. Original 231 V6 motor, 350 trans, white headliner that is not sagging, thats a big deal, everything works and is original. The car runs and drives. There are 15" x 7" rally rims in the front and 15" x 8"s in the back. I have the 5th rally wheel to use as a spare. We have some spare dashboard parts from another another Monte Carlo that I'm throwing in as well. Some of the white plastic interior trim is starting to deteriorate. Will send more pics if needed. If you know these cars, you know this happens. The car does not have a radio. The heater fan switch only works on high. Some of the trim moulding over the wheel wells is dented/bent. I upgraded the car by putting new chrome bumper moulding front and back, new window felt, new front brakes, dash cover, and new front grill. Shipping/transport must be set up by the buyer. I'll be happy to wait for the transporter once you have it set up, but I will not set it up for you. If you need any additional pictures or have any questions just ask.
