This is a COPO clone (or as they call them now a tribute car) it was built back in the early 80's,ive known about this car for about the last 25 year, I know it’s a cliché' but this is a true barn fin, it has been storedin a hay barn in northern alabam, the guy was a friend of mine and needed money for another purchaseand decided to sell i, It has a correctly dated #512 427 that matches the build date on the ca, it has a 4:11 12 bolt positraction rear end, it has a original M22 muncie 4 speed transmission (rock crusher, Hurst round handle shifter,#621 bellhousin, manualDisc brakes on the fron, still has the original hard to find dripper valve covers, this car is not perfect but has a very solid original body on it,when I got the car I did what it needed to ru, drive and sto, I wet sanded the car with 320 grit to get the grime off of it,I pressure cleaned the the rat nasty's and and mud dobbers off the engine, changed the oil and put a tune up on i, I put a single wire delco alternator oni, I did notcut any wires or remove the voltage reg, I have thedated 1969 alt. that was on i, it will go with the car,I had to put a new set of headers on i, originals had some pinholes in the, I don’t know the milage on the engine but it runs good carrys good oil pressure doesent smoke orhave any knocks, the radiator that is in it is a stoc, it maybe fine for northern alabama but will not work in south florida in the summe, it would have had a heavy duty installed originaly with a B, it has a dent in the rear lower valance where somone had backed intosomethin, the interior is infair condition (see pictures, the car isvery solidfor the fact that is was stored in a dry enviorment for so lon, engine and heads are dated mid december 68, car was an original butternut w/black interio, all the glass is good and works fine (tinted windsheild),the only rust ive found on the car is (2) small places on the LH 1/4 panel and a small place with some pin holes in the trunk where a critter had made a nest (see pictures) he began some of the work on the car before the recessio, it hasent been touched since the, these are the things I feel the car should have (and I will probally change if I start driving the car) carb cleane, an hei dist (still has the 69 point dist) heavy duty radiator (aluminum repop to spec's on ebay $300) I have a video of driving the car on my phoneif you text me ill forward it to you these are the partsthat had to bechanged new tires Specs : master cylinder #512 1969 427 fuel pumpMuncie M22 4 speed transmission alternator 12 bolt 4:11 posi rear end battery Disc brakes tune up 14X7 COPO wheels oil changeCowl hood headers Rear spoiler hoses READ!!! this is not a original COPOit is a clone built back when the parts pool were more readily availible and was easier to get the dated and correct parts,if it were a real copo there would be more zero's on the price
