Good looking daily driver or easy candidate for restoration. Well optioned Monza.
-Original 102HP motor with Powerglide transmission runs and shifts well.76,xxx original miles (may change as it's driven).
-Aqua Azure paint is mostly original, some areas getting thin to primer (driver door) and with some patina with chips here and there.
-Original or older top in good shape and works as it should, but has wear and a few small repairs (avinyl coating would be a good option)rear window clear. Top Boot looks good, but a few buttons need repair.
-Aqua interior is all original with few blemishes and looks great (some piping worn on driver seat). Dash has a small cracked area over gaugecluster and wavy around speaker grill, but looks presentable for age. Has original forced air heating/cooling system that works.
-Chrome and trim is in nice shape and all there including rear bumperettes.
-Good bones as there's little rust; hood drip edge and a small area on trunk fender well (may repair). Interior and trunk floors are original and clean. Clean underneath.
-Tires are great.Has original manuals with the original owner's name, whom I've talked to.(Original owner installed Spyder molding in 63)
-Many parts replaced and upgraded: Carburetors rebuilt, push-rodtube o-rings and assorted gasketsreplaced, electric fuel pump, newer battery, new Pioneer CD and new speakers front and rear, and rear seat belts installed. Some other misc. parts and manuals.
Not perfect or concours, but a really beautiful car for over 54 years old. Clean North Carolina title in my name.
