Description
This is a driver 1960 impala It has a 30 over 35, steel crank has 6 inch rods flat top pistons. Double hump heads with 202 valves. A medium flat tappet cam. round track oil pan & also comes with a set of headers to go with it. The Motor sounds & runs good with a thumpty thump sound.It has a Muncie 4 speed that is smooth & shifts very good with a blow proof housing. It retains its original rearend with a hwy gear. it runs hwy speed easily. This was a buddy of mine,s car.He had it since the late 90s. It has had lower quarter, trunk & floorpans put in it. It has been painted since 04 but the paint looks good on it. Its not full of bondo! it has a few rust bubbles coming through a seen in the pictures. But looks as good in person as the pics. It has a little place on the passenger rocker where it was loaded on a trailor once in its life. It is power steering with manual Disc brakes in the front that include drop spindels. I have all the chrome for the headlights bottom grille and the spears,birds for the side & trunk. It has new gauges but he only hooked up the temp guage. It has electric windows installed in it & they work better than newer ones. This is a cool old car to drive & everbody loves it.
