This is my wife's Uncle's truck that he had in his barn. He has owned it for awhile. It is a "rust free" Texas truck. It has been sitting for a few years. I drained the tank and added fresh gas and charged the battery and it starts runs and drives. It said he spent $5500 on a custom built 350 4-bolt main. He says it has special pistons and other things in it but I won't guarantee that. The motor. transmission and rear-end are solid. The transmission is also a custom build but I know nothing about it. He said the rear end will turns both tires. I confirmed this with a short burnout. He used the truck for daily transportation years ago for about a year. He also but special gears in the rear-end so that it would be more drivable. He claims to have the gears that came out of it if you want those. The truck needs work and would be worth doing a nice restoration. It has a solid start to do it. I would suggest tuning it rebuild the carburetor due to it sitting. The original wood is under a metal plate that has been welded in the bed then a spray in liner was installed. The truck has an older paint job and needs restoration. Don't miss this Texas rust free truck.
