Car description |
---|
The Classic looks with a modern drive-train. This car gets looks everywhere it goes with its new C7 corvette Torch Red paint job. The interior is all new including leather seats, leather door panels, all new console, new carpet and mats. The entire car is insulated from sound and heat with Dynamat and Dynaliner. The weatherstripping was all replaced also. The factory stereo works perfect with all new speakers. Both power window motors are new.
The engine is a freshly built 405hp LS6 out of a Z06 vette. The transmission is a 4L60E with only 30K miles. The wiring harness is from PSI Conversions. Exhaust and mufflers is new take-off from a 2015 C7 corvette slightly modified to fit.
All of the original suspension has been replaced with VBP Front Adjustable Transverse Monospring System and VBP Rear Composite Monospring. All the shocks are new Bilsteins. The original Power Assist steering has been replaced with a Borgeson quick ratio steering gear box that makes the car drive like a modern sportscar.
Willwood 6 piston 14" brakes up front and 4 piston 13" in the rear.
I got rid of the highway 2.73 gears and installed new Richmond 3.73 street gears.
Wheels are original GM C6 corvette with 255/40-18 Continental DW tires in front and 285/35-19 rear.
The air conditioning blows cold and the cruise works. Everything on the car functions as its supposed to.
This is a fun and fast car.
