I am only the second owner of this excellent truck. and have owned it for approximately 6 months. Unfortunately. I need a daily driver with better mileage and don't have the space. Solid truck with much better condition than a typical truck of this age. Mechanically excellent. Inspected in PA. good through September of 2015. Truck originally comes from California. and as a result has none of the rust that you find with trucks of this age. Paint/Exterior: Clearcoat is flaking off in places. and there's evidence of an older paint job from some time ago. There is minor rust in places and some dings that come with age. You would likely want to repaint. I chose not to do so ahead of selling the truck so you can see what you need. Note that the trailer mirrors you see on some pictures are gone. The typical smaller swing-away mirrors are mounted. but I did not drill new holes for them. They are slightly forward of the proper position as they use the holes from the trailer mirrors. Mechanical: After buying the truck. I had to do some minor maintenance to be road-legal. This included ball-joints. plugs. wires. things like that. Runs beautifully. I've driven at speed. on the highway. on country roads. The truck tracks well and is comfortable at 75mph. Interior: Three rows. seats 8. Second and third row seats in excellent shape. Driver's seat needs new foam and probably a skin. I can include the 40/20/40 bench from a 2002 Silverado for $200 more than the purchase price if you wish. I did not get around to swapping these in. These seats have poor-condition leather on them but I have the original charcoal skins and black tactical nylon covers as well. Once again. this 40/20/40 does not come with the purchase price. The headliner panels are out; the fabric was torn when I purchased the truck and the foam was flapping around in the truck. I took the headliner panels out. but kept the cardboard. These will come with the truck. Minor dings here and there in the interior. There are antenna mounts in the roof wired to go to the center console that is original to the truck. I did not remove these. It looks like you could drop a CB right in. I did not test the lines. The stereo produces sound to the speakers but no music. It is original. The truck has a rear A/C unit that runs on the switch but will surely need to be recharged. I didn't because fall came right when I purchased it. Electrical: Minor electrical gremlins exist. Switches all likely need some quick attention. Passenger rear door switches need work to raise/lower the window. Dome lights need new covers; old ones were yellowed and cracked. though lights work. I replaced the front dome light with an LED bulb. There are fog lights under the front bumper; only one works. but I didn't replace the bulb. I was going to take them off altogether. Driver's quad-switch should be replaced; contacts are not strong. RPO Codes: This has the trailer-towing package. including heavy duty brakes and axles. transmission cooler. hitch and wiring. See below for the great RPO Codes the truck has. Here is a quick summary of some of what I consider the better RPO codes you can find in the glovebox. There are obviously more than these:AA3 : DEEP TINT WINDOWSC6P : GVW RATING. 8600 LBS/3. 900KG G80 : AXLE POSITRACTION. LIMITED SLIP GT5 : AXLE REAR. 4. 10 RATIO (DUP WITH GT8) JB7 : BRAKE. POWER.
