Car description |
---|
1982 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista out of estate. Father and son owned. Mileage unknown.
Starts right up, runs and drives, A/C belt off, otherwise everything- and I mean EVERYTHING- works, right down to the clock. Perfect bed, floors, glass, headliner (!), body is remarkably straight. Driver's side front fender has 'push-in' damage, but no filler or repaint extant. Small rust-hole in rocker ahead of left rear wheel is skin only. Tear in passenger-side rocker is rust-free. Trim is vvg. 4.4l 'Smog-Wheezer' runs good and is emissions-exempt in NC. There's a TON of potential here, either as a resto, resto-rod, or a street-comp car. The 262 under the hood can and will make 300hp with some simple mods. ALL BowTie SBCs have the potential to make power; you don't necessarily need a 350 with fancy heads.
For sale locally, so this listing could end without notice. This car was a daily driver until parked; it can be driven home, or you can bring a trailer and I'll load it on for you.
