Engine: Original L48 (350 ci / 195 hp) When purchased. the car odometer was at approximately 93K. It is the original "numbers matching" engine for this car. The interior. brake/gas pedals and overall condition would indicate that was the correct mileage. Nothing visible about the engine that would indicate the motor had ever been pulled. It now has 108k miles on it. The carburetor was not the original Quadrajet. but a re-man Quadrajet. A new Edelbrock 650 cfm (replacement for the stock factory Quadrajet) with the electric choke was installed and no cold starting issues since then. The original "points" style distributor was replaced with an electronic distributor that looks just like the stock version but works a whole lot better. The old one is still on the shelf if you want to put it back "original". Transmission: The transmission is the original Turbo 400 and was rebuilt about 6 years ago (would not go into "Reverse"). Less than 5k miles since then. Transmission fluid/filter was changed last month. Factory options include: Tilt/telescopic with power steering. disc brakes and air conditioning. (A/C compressor was replaced last year) Exterior: Repainted to factory original “Arctic White” in 1994. Always garaged since then and seldom sees the rain. Upgraded the old exhaust system to a "chambered" system that provides that 60's-'70s V8 rumble of that era (adds about 25hp also). These are real "duals" - no "Y" pipes. These will not wake your neighbors. but they’ll know you’re in the area. Head light assemblies work with no vacuum leaks. Corvette Rally Wheels with new Cooper RWL tires (<200 miles). Since 1994 it has always been licensed and driven (sometimes as my daily driver) so any repairs were/are always made at the time of discovery. Brake calipers have been replaced with rebuilt Vette Brakes calipers and new pads. No leaks. Interior - Black: Vinyl interior is in excellent condition with no cracks. Dash pad. console. seats and driver side door panel are original. Replaced passenger side door panel due to cracks in the arm rest from aging. All interior lights are operable and all gauges work including the clock (electric upgrade). The rear compartment carpet is the factory original. The front carpet was worn/faded and was replaced in '94. Door weatherstrip appears to be factory original and probably should be replaced. The T-top weatherstrip was replaced two years ago.
