I have the portion of the original bill of sale for this car showing it being sold for "used on track" and showing it was an original orange car. Unlike most racecars this car still has the original dash shell with the vin tag and the hidden vins in the cowl match. The cowl tag shows X77 711 (Standard Black Interior) 72 72 (Hugger Orange). Speedometer cable also comes out in behind the distributer as seen in the pictures. It also was a radio delete car. o spoiler car. Original engine and transmission are long gone. Car has a 350 and a powerglide(condition of both are unknown). The previous owner stripped down the body and painted the car about 10 years ago and never finished the car. Car is VERY SOLID with very nice floors and trunk floor. The original rear frame rails are still very solid. hey have hammered alittle for tire clearance. As seen in the pictures it has had the inner wheel houses changed with old school homemade mini tubs. At the rear of the car the rear leaf springs have been move inward. he stock frame rail mounts are still very nice and unaltered. Rear shocks have been moved to the middle. The car has bolt in frame rail connectors and ladder bars. The exterior of the car has very nice panels. The are very solid originals. The car has its original rear quarter panels. hich have had the wheel well lips bent over for tire clearance and trimmed in a few spots. The quarters are very nice other than the wheel well alterations. The right door does have some filler from a dent. ut still a very nice door. Door bottoms and trunk lid have very nice tight seems. Original Z/28 Cowl hood is very nice. Very clean around the windows. Rad support and inner fenders are very clean. Rocker panels are very solid. Other than the alterations made for racing. his is a very nice original Z/28. Does have original 12 Bolt which has had the ladder bar mounts welded on. CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS.
