Up for sale is an incredibly rare cameo truck, 5220 cameos were produced in '55. It was Chevrolets first step towards a luxury pick up imagined by head of Chev's styling, Chuck Jordan, who was inspired by the guided missile carriers he saw while stationed at Cape Canaveral as a part of the U.S. Air force. The fiberglass bed sides and tailgate were built in the same Ohio factory that produced the corvette bodies of the time. It's a very cool, beautiful and interesting chevy of the era. This particular truck has seen a restoration and sits on a late model truck frame which brings drivability into the 21st century.
