1968 Chevrolet SS396 El Camino
Stunning number matching 1968 SS396 car with a freshly rebuilt number matching 396 motor (L35 code) that came with the car. The turbo 400 transmission, 12 bolt rear end, power steering and power brakes finishes up the awesome big block powertrain. It has factory air conditioning, clean interior and a vinyl top that's in great shape. The 1968 El Camino was the first year of the sleek body style and there was a very low production run of SS396 model made in 68. The car runs very good and drives and brakes straight with less then 84k showing on the speedometer. The body is in good condition with no evidence of rust in the bed in the normal spots found on this model. Paint is clean and shinny and shows well but does have blemishes and would be the next step to make it a cherry car. She did go through a restoration in the 90 and it shows and was the cover car for Chevyland restoration parts (the catalog with the picture of this El Camino goes to the new owner). Car is sold As-Is with no warranty implied and will not be released until full payment has cleared the bank, inspections of the car are welcome.Feel free to call 707-696-8608 or email with any question.
