Car description |

This is a fair condition "turn key" light blue 1962 4-door Chevy Impala sedan. The odometer currently says 2,034, but that's not accurate, since it flips to 0 at 100,000 miles, so the mileage is unknown.
I bought the car in 2011, and since then have done a lot of work on it, so half the work is done. I have kept all the records of everything that has been done to the car since buying it. I have put in new brakes and tires, put in a new generator, put in new spark plugs, rebuilt the transmission, fixed the original copper heater core to give it a functioning heating system, fixed the spedometer, fixed the turn signals, fixed the windshield wipers, put in a new deep cycle battery, rebuilt the starter, replaced the carborator, and put in a new accelerator pump. In all that time I've also given it regular oil changes and kept it serviced, so this car runs lovely. The only reason I am selling it is because of personal life issues and a lack of a garage. I haven't had incentive to fix the cosmetics.
All the issues it has relates to the body and interior. Here it needs work. There is rust in some spots and some dents. The floor panels should probably be replaced and the interior needs a full makeover. If these things are done, this can easily be a mint car worth a lot of money, so this is a great potential project. This model is iconic. The inside is spacey, and it's a damn fine cruiser.
I've attempted to give you the best possible pictures to see what it is. If you are nearby, you are welcome to see it yourself. Test drives can be organized.
