1969 Chevy Camaro Z28 tribute
Lowered reserve! You are bidding on a very nice driver quality '69 Camaro. The car is badged a Z28 but is a tribute car. Trim tag is an X11. Originally a very rare color combination of Olympic Gold (65) exterior with a midnight green (723) interior, now it has an ivory white with orange (tangerine) racing stripes exterior. It's an older lacquer paint job but shows very well and would look even nicer with a buff job. There are a couple spots (see pics) around the rear wheel wells that have some rust coming through the paint but just surface rust. The interior is in fantastic shape with new seat covers, carpet, headliner and sill plates. Door panels are very nice as well. There are no cracks in the dash but it is starting to curl a bit in the front due to age or sun. The dash lights have gone out but not sure why. Haven't checked the fuses yet. Radio isn't hooked up and the fuel gauge isn't working. Floor boards and trunk are in great condition with no rust. Appears to have been an original A/C car.
Brand new BFGoodrich Radial T/A's all around with 205/70R14 on the front and 245/60R15 on the rear. New air ride suspension in the rear as well.
The motor is a rebuilt 400 chevy small block with about 5K miles on it with an edelbrock torker intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and headers. It's pared to a Saginaw 4 speed that shifts as it should. The car fires right up, runs well and stays cool. 10 bolt non posi rear end with low gears. Not sure what the gears are but if I had to guess I'd say at least 4.11 maybe 4.56. Power Steering but no power brakes.
Overall this is a very nice '69 that gets up and goes and gathers a lot of attention!!
