Stk. 2241 1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup The Chevy ½ ton C-10 was the pick-up of choice for in 1965. That said no pick-up that rolled off the assembly line looked like this. The current owner has had the fully restored C-10 for over 4 years and it has little resemblance to its '65 roots. In 2012 the body was refinished in GM Medium Blue with white trim. Nice chrome bumpers and a set of period-correct 15" American Racing alloy wheels with BFG Radial T/A tires accent the exterior. The pickup bed was completely redone in medium oak with black trim. The Chevy is powered by a 400ci small block rebuilt and bored.010 over in 2012. It runs a single plane Edelbrock manifold and 4-barrel carburetor. An aluminum radiator provides cooling and the exhaust exits through tube headers with free-flowing pipes. A GM400 Turbohydramatic and a 3.73:1 posi-traction 12-bolt differential back the powerplant. It runs & sounds exactly as you would imagine. The interior is spot-on with a pleated vinyl bench seat and dark gray carpeting in very good condition. An original dash holds Pro-Comp gauges and the steering wheel appears to be from a late-50's BelAir. The pick-up is equipped with power steering drum brakes (dual master) tinted windows and AM/FM/CD sound system. Shine up this C-10 and take it for cruise - it's a sweet ride.
