Hi thanks for checking out my truck. Up for grabs is my badass 1976 GMC high sierra shortbed pickup. I am the 3rd owner of the truck. Comes with a 383 stroker and 700r 4 trans (automatic w/ overdrive). This truck is a lot of fun to drive. I am selling because the wife wants something a little easier to drive. The truck was smogged 10 days ago (have paperwork from local smog shop). it is registered and also has current tags till 8/31/15. The truck does need a few things to be a completed truck. For the interior I would say its complete and stock except for the one off dash cover and door panels. All gages work except the temp. All blinkers. brake lights work except the interior light and one headlight. I would replace the rear lights because they seem to be original and weathered. The glass (windshield. rear. doors DO NOT have cracks). All doors. hood. lift gate open and close great. The truck will need a new front right tire (bald). the other 3 have tread. The truck is 90% rust free except for the truck bed. There are a few spots on the floor of the bed where the lift gate meets the bed. It has tilt steering but needs to be adjusted. It never bothered me so I didn't bother messing with it. Since I've owned the truck I have checked the fluids on reg basis and it does not leak oil but I have added one quart of trans fluid to her. The previous owner mentioned this to me and its never been an issue. Other than that the truck is complete and hauls ass. Call or text with any other questions. My name is Tyler and can be reached at (760) 846-2051. Truck is for sale locally so I reserve right to end auction early. Truck comes with no warranty and no returns. Shipping is up to winning bidder but I will help out. On Jan-16-15 at 02:28:48 PST. seller added the following information: I forgot to mention a couple other details. The driver side window roller was used by vice grips from the pervious owner. I don't own a pair so the window is up. Also the truck is lowered on drop spindles. Truck doesn't like cold mornings (sometimes I keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep the r. p. m's up a little so it doesn't die) for all I know it could be the choke. After about 30 seconds its good to go.
