Stk 2250 1986 Chevy Camaro Z-28 Prostreet The GEN3 Camaro was introduced for the 1982 model year using the GM F-body platform. Production continued through 1992. This restored (2014) 1986 Camaro is a Z28 model that has had some significant performance upgrades including NOS injection. It is powered by a 350ci engine that was totally rebuilt. The motor is backed by a 3-speed 700R4 Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission that utilizes a B+M shifter w/LineLock. Our owner has added an Edelbrock intake Holley double-pumper w/NOS and full tube headers. The suspension incorporates power steering power 4-wheel disc brakes and a Ford 9" differential with 4.11:1 gears. Period-correct 15" REV Classic chrome wheels and meaty Cooper radials provide grip. The exterior was refinished in Burnt Orange a professional job and has been well maintained. A lightweight fiberglass hood replaced the original unit. The distinctive interior focuses on function with nice grey/black cloth seats a rear compartment for audio components and a custom roll cage.
