First of all this is a GMC CABALLERO, for some reason it wouldn't let me change the listing title so please remember you are bidding on a 1979 GMC CABALLERO. This car runs and drives and shifts fine but it needs a little TLC to be ready for the road. The engine is a 305 V-8 with an automatic trans. The engine sounds great, the trans shifts fine. It is a little loud as the exhaust needs the Y pipe or header pipe which ever you call it. The exhaust goes from 2 into 1 and back into 2 which runs the length of the car and exits both sides behind the rear tires so guess it is actually dual exhaust. Im sure this is not one of those all numbers matching cars so if that's what youre looking for this isn't the car for you. If you want a car that runs, shifts and drives and has a pretty solid body for a good price this could be the one. It was an air car but the AC compressor has been removed but the lines were blocked off so it should be easy to put back on. The body on this car is very solid with the only outer body problem is on the passenger side quarter panel. It has a little rust behind the rear wheel and a previous repair needs a little attention on this panel, nothing major just shows some filler work cracking, there is a pic of it. Behind the passenger rear wheel is the only rust through I see on the entire car. There are a few minor dents or dings and some scratches but mostly normal wear and tear on a 79 model. The paint on the drivers side is still pretty shiny, passenger side is showing some clear coat discoloring. As some of the guys say the paint is a 20 footer I guess but fine for a daily driver. The passenger floor pan is soft but the drivers side is solid. Frame is in great condition and bed floor is good. There is some pitting on the inside door lip but no holes or any major problems. The trim is in pretty good condition but does need polishing and the tailgate trim is missing. The tailgate works great. The bumpers are decent, driver quality but not near perfect, need polishing also. The tires look good, think one is different for some reason but its good. Wheels are the rally type with all 4 center caps and all 4 trim rings installed, they look nice on this car. The interior in this truck is very nice daily driver quality. The seat is good, carpet looks pretty good as do the door panels. The headliner is real good but needs dyed to match which is easily done with some spray dye. Its very nice just wrong color. The dash has a hard cover on it which looks good also, the dash does have a little place that's messed up on one of the lower corners, think it shows in one of the pics. Both power windows work as does the power locks. The radio doesn't seem to come on. Some gauges work, some don't. It has a nice style steering wheel with the tilt column which has a little play in it. Someone told me theres 3 bolts inside that need tightening but Im not the one to tear into it not knowing what to do, so should be easily fixed if you know what your doing. Guys im selling this car or truck as TMU, true miles unknown because with its age theres no telling what has and hasn't been done to it so to be on the safe side it is being sold as is and TMU. If you have any questions please ask, assume nothing. Checkout my feedback guys as its near 800 and ALL positive. You don't get great feedback like that if you lie and cheat people, I tell it like it is. Rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. Also, I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is listed for sale locally. Lots of my items never last till auctions end so if your a serious buyer don't miss out on a nice vehicle hoping to save a few dollars at the end. I require a $500 deposit at auctions end. The car can sit here at no extra charge while you arrange shipping as long as its paid for in full as auction states. Also if you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me before bidding or I may cancel your bid. That's about all I know to tell you, sure I missed some things so please ask questions, I will get back to you asap. Thanks for reading my novel and good luck should you decide to bid on this solid 1970 GMC Caballero. One other thing I forgot to mention is the passenger side front park light is cracked. I am looking for one and if I get one it will come with the car but no promises. Thanks

Ive had lots of emails about is the car drivable as it is.Please read the listing carefully as it pretty much explains the cars condition. It mainly needs the Y pipe on the exhaust or headers which ever you prefer. It just needs checked out maybe a little carburetor adjustment etc once its quieted down. ALSO IF YOU HAVE SENT ME QUESTIONS AND THEY WERENT ANSWERED PLEASE SEND THEM AGAIN AND LET ME KNOW ITS YOUR SECOND TIME SENDING THEM. WHEN I ANSWER THE QUESTIONS SOMETIMES I GET A MESSAGE SAYING MY RESPONSEWAS NOT SENT. I WANT TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. THANK YOU.
