49 CHEVY TRUCK

Ok... Here we have a really good shop truck. It runs every time, no matter how long I let it sit, she fires right up. It has the stock engine (0-60 in about 4.5....minutes) and doesn't leave any spots or puddles behind.Truthfully, the paint is crap, but it covers the truck and looks decent at 15 ft. The tires are newer, the rims are new. It has a new turn signal switch, that I mounted but haven't had a chance to hook up. I have a new job with killer hours and too many projects. It needs one of those electric wiper motors. The radio works pretty well. The transmission works great, 4 on the floor with granny. The linkage is nice (not sloppy) and shifts very well. It has a new gas tank moved out of the cab to under the bed. The gauge is only a 1/4 tank off (laugh, but most don't work or even that close). Speedo, headlights and brake lights work fine. Cab vents work fine and are not rusted closed.
This truck has treated me very well. Takes me to town whenever I want and hasn't given me a speck of trouble. I don't want her to sit and rot, she deserves better. I put a pic of the only rust through (low on cab) the truck and bed are really solid (bed could use some new shellac). Look, this is a pretty original ride, NOT A SHOW TRUCK. it's almost 70 and still runs great. Body has dings, tailgate is rough but solid. Chip, Troy, Boyd never touched this truck, it's NOT a custom. It's just a solid truck from New Mexico living in the middle of hay farms. I love this truck and have other projects up for sale, if she doesn't leave the premises, it won't hurt my feelings at all. I just want a good home for her...
