Selling this beautiful 1979 EL CAMINO. This is a rust free truck originally from Tennessee it has been beautifully restored and customized with a corvette theme. I was just watching Fast N' Loud on TV and they built a 1980 El Camino which is much the same as this 1979. They had $42,000 in and sold it at auction for $50,000. That was on 2/9/17 Discovery channel. This one is much nicer looking with the custom work that has been to the exterior and you can buy if for a whole lot less It has a LS1 corvette motor out of an 2002 corvette. a 4L60E Automatic Transmission (which is an evolution of the 700R4) with 2500 stall converter. Aluminum drive shaft. A 4 link setup posi rear end from a 1987 Buick Grand National 353 gears.. Elback lowering springs, KYB GR2 shocks, Drop spindlies, Headers, 3" exhaust pipe, Magnaflow Mufflers, 4 wheel slotted disc brakes, Custom wire harness, custom ECU, Custom motor mounts, drive wire setup, Cowl Hood with painted on silver stripes. Shaved bed rails, shaved marker lights, shaved door handles with poppers. Frenched corvette tail lights & license plate frame. Rolled pans, Riddler wheels 20" rear and 18" front. Raptor bed liner. Interior is all custom leather, New carpet, custom headliner with bow tie matches the door panels. Caddy power seats, custom console with shifter, Billet steering wheel, power windows, remote door poppers, Custom stereo. It has a digital odometer and it needs to be hooked up, so it does not work. If I get a chance I will have my shop look at it. I was told by last owner the motor has about 75,000 on it. Runs like new. I have driven this baby myself and it drives like a new car with lots of power. You can drive it home. The upgrades just go on and on. like almost $50,000 spent on this build.
