Hello Potential Buyer! Up for sale is my 1972 Chevrolet El Camino. There is much great things to be said about this very nice classic. I will be as descriptiveas possible and talk about every detail as I can as I want you to have a full visual of what your purchasing and know exactly what you getting....HISTORY... I am the second owner of this vehicle. I obtained this vehicle about 15 years ago. I have always garage kept it. Let me tell you about the...COSMETICS...First the EXTERIOR... The exterior is the original factory color that it came in. I had it repainted 5 years ago with the exact same color, using double stage high quality paint. Since being painted it was always garage kept as it was prior to painting. (original paint was fading) The paint looks excellent! There is 1 area of minor rust bubbling through, its on the drives side, above the door, on the white painted area (see pic). Aside that the entirecar is rust free. The underneath is dry and rust free. There are a couple nicks and cracks here and the on the exterior. You wouldnt see them unless I pointed them out. It really looks great! All of the body lines throughout the entire vehicle are perfectly lined up, for the exception of the drivers door. The hinge that opens and closes it is a little worn and for that its line is off slightly (im being picky folks)All of the glass is in excellent condition. All of the weather stripping is in excellent condition and was redone 5 years ago. The chrome throughout the entire vehicle is all the original and all 100% there. None of it is missing. All of it is in good condition. (good condition means to look presentable, nice, clean, show minimal wear as opposed to being brand new) The wheels are from a Corvette. Have at least 75% matching tread. I have the original El Camino wheels as well, with brand new tires on them that will be included. Original 1972 tool box that goes in the bed will be included....INTERIOR.. All of the interior is in very good condition. The seat and carpet were reupholstered back to its original condition 3 years ago and are in excellent condition. The headliner is the original and in good shape, minimal wear. Door panels are the original and in good condition, minimal wear. The dash in the original and in very good condition. All of the gauges work. All of the electrical works. All the windows roll up and down like new. The dash pad was replaced 5 years ago, looks excellent except for 1 3" crack. Overall the interior looks great! MECHANICS... Has 90K original miles on it. Runs excellent! Has the factory Chevy 350 motor. Always maintained and oil changes done every 3K miles. Does not leak any oil. Has 3 spd factory transmission. Shifts perfect! Just had the 4 barrel factory Carb rebuilt less than 100 miles ago. Has the factory AC, all hooked up and blows, but needs a recharge. Was blowing ice cold last year (easy fix). All of the factory numbers throughout the entire vehicle match and are the original! (extremely rare)The suspension is in excellent condition. Shocks, ball joints, everything underneath is tight and feels great. The breaks are in good shape. The alignmentis straight. Does pull slightly to the left when breaking ( easy adjustment). Just a great running and driving, original El Camino. This is the perfect drive any time Classic that you dont need to be afraid to take out and enjoy, that looks great and turns heads everywhere!
