Thank you for viewing our auction!!
We are offering for your consideration this 1953 Chevy project truck sitting on an S10 chassis.Pre 56 Chevy trucks carry the vin on the motor and frame, neither of which exist any longer, making this a parts truck. Some states will allow you to have the vehicle inspected and issue a vin for the truck, or allow it to be registered as an S10.The truck will be an excellent project for someone looking to build a classic truck with modern suspension. We got the truck just the way it is. According to the man who sold us the truck, it was being driven with the 4.3 that came on the S10 frame. The V6 was then removed in preparation for an LS swap that never took place. We do have the LS motor mounts for the S10 chassis. Here is a list of things that I can see have been done on the truck.
S10 chassis swapNew wheels and tiresS10 instrument cluster installedS10 center console installedNew floors fabricatedS10 firewall installedS10 wiring harness installedS10 bucket seats installedS10 steering column installed.Doors shaved and actuators installedCustom inner fenders fabricatedNew fiberglass rear fenders installedS10 windshield wipers installedS10 brake and gas petals installed
The truck body is fairly straight, with the only obvious dent being on the hood. The front clip, cab, and bed metal is all in very good condition. The rear fenders are fiberglass. You will need an engine, transmission, and glass at very least to get the truck on the road. I believe a 4.3 out ofany 90's S10 pickup or blazer should bolt right in, and the wiring harness appears to be all there. The S10 drive shaft comes with the truck. Thewheels and tires are brand new, never ever driven on.
If you have any further questions, please ask me through eBay, or call me at 936-569-7088.
Thanks, and happy bidding!
