Car description |
---|
This is a 1972 Chevy El Camino that can either be parted out or brought back to life. It was hit in September when a driver changed lanes into me as I was passing them! I have the state Salvage certificate for easy title transfer to the buyer. If you wish to bring it back to life, you will need to have the California DMV complete a VIN verification as well as a brake and light check. Please check the requirements for the state you live in.
There are 166,427 miles on the car, the original 350 V-8 was rebuilt a few years back and has 35,000 miles on it. The Air Conditioning and Power Steering both work well but the drive belts were cut because the inner fender is pressing on them right now. The 3 speed automatic was replaced last year and has roughly 2,000 miles on it. The reared is a little sloppy so the gears would need to be rebuilt as part of a rebuild project. The interior was redone a few years ago by the previous owner. Headliner, seats, door trim, dashboard and carpets were all rereplaced.
I have many of the large ticket receipts. Pickup will be at the buyer's expense.
