NO RESERVE! Please Bid your Max Bid and Only Bid if you have the Funds to pay for this Very Clean and almost too good todrive; this Matching Numbers 1972 Chevrolet C-10 4x4Short Bed with A/C and Manual Locking Hubs!
- 4x4, Short bed C-10 Custom. Complete frame off restoration.
- Factory fully loaded 4x4 short bed half ton. That includes the factory A/C &Deluxe Package. There has been only three owners, and we have the original books and Protect-O-Plate. The truck was bought new in Quincy, California, and then purchased by a fireman who owned it for about ten years where he purchased it from a gentleman in Paso Robles, CA. The vehicle was factory delivered with deluxe interior, power steering, power disc brakes, heavy duty 4 core radiator, all wood grain moldings, tilt steering, tachometer and vacuum gauges in the instrument cluster.
- Truck has been recently completely restored, 90% of the undercarriage parts are powder coated including the frame; all bolts were replaced with stainless. All piping, transmission lines, fuel lines, and brake lines were also changed to stainless. The motor is the original numbers matching motor that has been bored .30 over (383ci),and there is a “Mother Thumper “cam in it, with roller rockers. Also added is a Hitachi high toque mini starter, Edelbrock carburetor and a flame thrower HEI distributor. The motor runs very good, and is very reliable. It idles at around 900 rpm with the a/c kicking on and off, and it sounds very healthy. The truck has the factory 350 turbo transmission, NP205 transfer case, factory 3:73 gears and manual locking front hubs. All of these were gone through by a local trans shop and all seals were replaced. Tires are all 80%+.
- The paint and body are super straight and painted to its original colors. This paint job is about ten years old. But is always garaged and detailed professionally every 3 months. The floorboards are original, solid, with no rust, and the bed is also super straight and rust free. Every piece of rubber and upholstery has been replaced. Also replaced every piece of molding, the grill, and re-chromed the original bumpers.
- Things that are changed to aftermarket: Installed Vintage Air; it is way colder than the factory a/c and is ice cold and works great. Installed is a retro sound radio (aux and rear RCA for optional amplifier) with new dual dash mounted speaker. Added electric steps, a 6” inch lift, wheels and tires are 33”. Back window tinted medium to keep the sun from blazing on your back. Installed front Fox reservoir shocks and a rubber bed mat to protect that beautiful bed.
