1965 Chevrolet Impala Coupe. It is all numbers matching 327. auto tranny. The car has sat for atleast 25 years. thats why it has less than 80. 00 miles!. The car was backed into 6 years ago. All damage was at the front of the car and did NOT bend the frame. only supports. The grille. eadlight parts and nose were damaged. i have an extra nose piece and grille for replacements. but the grille is not up to my liking as it is bent a little too. the driver side fender is rusted through at the bottom closest to the door. nd was dented in the accident. The rust is minimal elsewhere. the trunk pan is the only part rusted through. The rear window seal at the bottom and the inside rear deck lid have a good amount of rust present. floor pans. inner fender wells. and all body work have surface rust at most. Motor fires everytime if you dump gas in the carb. and will continue running as long as you feed it. The motor has had work done according to the last owner. and it does sound like it has a cam. Old school long tube headers. dont know the brand as there is no product stamps i can see. It does run beautifully and i can guarantee the motor is not locked. The trans has a hurst shifter on the floor instead of the column shift. I do not know the condition of the trans. All lights worked when we hooked up power even the dash clock ticks away still. the interior could use the typical resto. but all trim is there and the dash and seat frames are nice and rebuildable. This is one of the cleanest impala's i have come across in quite sometime. it will be an easy and cheap resto. I welcome questions and would love to answer them. Thank you for looking. All parts but misc. headlight components and carpet are being sold with the car. The car will be mostly put back togeather and ready to ship by the time the buyer takes custody. The car was in the process of being restored but only got to the assessment phase and new parts were being sourced before my brother lost his job and can no longer restore it. His loss your gain.
