1982 Chevrolet Corvette Base Coupe 2-Door 5.7L

This car is quite nice. It doesn't really need anything to cruise. Its not a show car but would turn heads at cruise ins and local shows. Really only needs minor TLC. It sometimes idles fast. not sure why I think its a vacuum leak. The ac needs charged but by all other indications should work well. The oil pressure gauge is jittery. clearly a gauge problem not a pressure problem. Has a tear in the drivers floorboard carpet. The rest of the interior is ok; beginning to show age but smells fine. Power windows work great but the door locks need assistance to work. Has a minor transmission leak from the pan. She has brand new tires and brakes on all four including at least one new caliper. The original wheels are near perfect. I recently put new rear strut bushing in which required new lower shock mounts. I replaced the oil pressure switch for what turned out to be no reason as it didn't fix the jittery gauge. I have a few new parts that the previous owner purchased including a new trans pan a gasket. Has one new headlight vacuum motor installed and comes with another. Headlights work perfectly as is. I also have the original fiberglass tops and it currently has the tinted one piece targa top installed. Only 2 issues with the paint. a small patch of clear coat has peeled off just behind the drivers door which is barely noticeable unless up close and the passenger side door has a quarter size chip on the leading edge. The blue is an incredible color with tons of metallic flake. The red pinstripe is in decent shape and really sets off the paint job. I believe it has been repainted but it was done well. That's about all I know about the car as I have only owned it for 6 months. I took it as trade towards another vehicle. She starts. runs. and drives very well.
