Car description |

Rust Free Southern Truck, no rust holes anywhere, but where paint has weathered off, there is surface rust, such as on the roof top of the cab. All area's are solid. The pictures will tell the story on what I'm describing.
As the picture(s) show, original paint has weathered off of various areas of the cab. There is no paint remaining on the roof of the cab, the vent area of the hood, part of the grill, tailgate, top of the front fenders, doors. This is all due to the original paint wearing off with time, not due to salt. As mentioned, this is a southern truck where salt is not used. The truck was obviously parked outdoors most of its life. The door jambs and underside of the doors have no rust whatsoever. The rims do have rust.
The exterior rubber on the wing windows is worn off. If I were to restore, I would replace all of the window gaskets/rubber.
Interior door panel will need to be repaired or replaced. It looks like they were repainted years ago. The trim that goes on the door panel(s) is included, as shown on one of the pics (laying on the seat)
I removed all of the adhesive body trim, it was weathered and coming off.
The engine idles and runs strong. Mechanically, the only issue that I can determine is that a ujoint is needed. When you put the truck into gear, there is a "clunk". The transmission shift smoothly. I was told by a mechanic that he can replace the ujoint for $150
The factory radio was replaced but the replacement radio is missing the security face plate, so a new radio will be needed.
The seat fabric is sun-beaten and needs to be replaced. The foam and springs are solid.
The Power Windows work, but move slowly going up. Dash has a crack. All glass is good, no cracks.
The interior truck bed/box has some dents, no rust.
Has old school dual exhaust as pics show. Old school A/C has been converted to 134. Will need to recharged. Has dual gas tanks. Left headlight needs to be adjusted. Very good tread on tires.
I bought this truck from an older gentleman in the town where I live, who owned it for over 20 years. I've driven it daily for many months with no issues. My original plan was to replace the above mentioned items, paint and put install a lift kit. I still may do this depending on the price it brings on Ebay/Locally.
Feel free to have the vehicle inspected prior to purchase. I have nothing to hide, the truck speaks for itself. Drive it anywhere.
Successful bidder/winner to deposit $500 within 24 hours of auction closing. Cash balance is due within 5 days of auction close. If you have a poor Ebay bidding/selling history, don't bother bidding, I don't need the hassle.
I will answer any questions you may have. My reserve price is very reasonable, not anywhere near what many of the trucks I've seen on Ebay.
