1994 Chevy K3500
Condition:This truck has been sitting for about 2 or 3 years. I would not drive it more than half a mile. Tires are dry rotted and need replaced.I have owned since this summer when I bought it off a neighbor who is a diesel mechanic/car trader. (I purchased to pull a gooseneck dump trailer, but trailer got sold out from under me)Flywheel was cracked, mechanic dropped the trans and replaced with a good flywheel which came with the truck. What caused the flywheel to crack? No idea. Cracked clean off by the bolts.Replaced all fluids: Oil, Coolant, ATF, Rear Differential, Transfer caseReplaced all u joints in drive shaft.Replaced some seals such as output shaft on transmission2 new batteriesAll work performed July 2016
Drove it around the neighborhood a bit, project stalled when storms hit and work picked up, trailer was sold after I had placed a deposit on it. The truck sat as a reminder and never went any further.Rockers in much better shape than most chevys.Truck is pretty good shape for what it is. Put some work into the brakes, new tires, maybe some suspension bits and have a nice work truck.
Clean title in handCould be a really nice truck for someone who wants to put the work into it, I'd like to keep it but really I'm a ford guy and my 7.3 dump truck needs a new bed. So gotta sell all the partial projects I have and get ready for next years season.
I would trade for any sort of tree equipment or bumper pull dump trailers, skid steers, minis, etc.
