Car description |
---|
Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful, completely numbers matching, 1972 Corvette Coupe with the original high performance LS5 454ci big block engine, original M21 Close Ratio 4-Speed transmission, air conditioning, and only 40,080 original miles. This Corvette has been treated to a complete mechanical and cosmetic "nut and bolt" frame off restoration. There are photos documenting the restoration and receipts totaling over $61,000. The car was literally taken down to the bare frame and completely rebuilt with a new paint, interior, engine rebuild, transmission rebuild, suspension rebuild, etc.
In addition to the LS5 454ci engine and M21 transmission this Corvette is absolutely loaded with almost option available in 1972. It was ordered with a/c, power steering, power brakes, AM-FM stereo radio, tilt/telescopic steering column, factory custom leather interior, white letter tires, rear window defroster, luggage rack carrier, a dealer installed GM compass, and a dealer installed GM fire extinguisher. The GM compass and GM fire extinguisher are still with the car today.
In addition to the documentation of the restoration there is some original paperwork with the car such as a copy of the original title from 1972 and the original retail order form from 12-31-71 verifying all the highly desirable options and dealer installed options such as the compass, fire extinguisher, and luggage rack. Please view the very end of the video where we show the binder of receipts and documentation.
This Corvette looks absolutely stunning, runs terrifically, and is an awesome driver that is ready to be enjoyed. There is no way a similar Corvette could be built or restored for anything near our asking price. Please peruse all of the photos, video, numbers, and other information below to get a true sense of how exceptionally nice this Corvette really is.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
