1979 Corvette daily driver, sold as is for parts.

Up for auction is my daily driver 1979 Corvette. I bought it to restore when I found that it was a matching numbers ( engine & body VIN) but the car had been vandalized. It had many parts missing. I have replaced a good many. It does have a clean CA title.
The Good:New CA tags to 4/17, new, tires, cat. converter, EGR, thermostat, alternator, power steering pump, power steering control valve rebuild kit, master cylinder, battery, door and ignition locks. Heads are 64cc double hump 2.02's, roller rockers, good compression, stock cam, average oil pressure, 3:55 gears with posi, has spare tire, wheel and carrier. The body and interior have no major damage. Has Pioneer CD player. Gauges work except clock.The car runs, stops and shifts satisfactorily. Transmission appears to have shift kit.
The Bad:Needs paint. Peeling clear coat. Looks good from 10 feet. Power windows, locks, A/C, heater, wipers, inop. Has misc. oil leaks, noisy lifters, brakes pull but pedal is up and firm. Double hump heads are not drilled for accessories.
Original exhaust with cat and mufflers is currently hooked up for CA smog. Side pipes can be reconnected.Many spare parts to go with car sale.
