Lusso presents this beautifully built, Custom 1972 Chevy Camaro RS in a stunning Custom Mixed Orange with Charcoal stripes finish. The Camaro was built by Miranda Customs, a Hot Rod builder out in Arizona, and was used as a SEMA vehicle for 2015 and 2016 Maxxsonics MB Quart Booth. With just over 750 miles since the completion, this 2nd Gen Camaro is a complete showstopper and has been babied its entire life.
Exterior: The Chassis and body was completely stripped down and recoated in a BASF custom mixed orange, with charcoal striping. To create a clean body line, the door handles were shaved, and the bumpers were brought in closer to the body. GE FireHawk headlights were installed, along with DigiTail Billet parking and taillight housings. The Camaro sits on a custom set of 19" HRE Wheels wrapped in Hankook Tires.
Interior: The interior was completely redone as well, and starts off with custom door panels, featuring Clayton Machine work pulls and handles. The factory gauges were dumped and replaced with Dakota Digital units. A center console was build to house USB charging ability, along with a spot for cup holders. A Rear custom lower armrest panel and sail panels flow into rear package tray with roadster pods that contour into the rear seats. The Billet Door Cill Plays Billet Door Jam Vents & Strikers and custom headliner round out the interior.
Audio: A complete custom audio system was built by MB Quart, featuring a combination of MB Quart 6.5 components and 6x9's throughout the interior. A full smooth enclosure was built in the trunk, that features Two 12 Inch Hifonics Subwoofers, and 35 Anniversary Hifonic Amps.
Performance. The Belly of the beast consists of a 545HP World Products Motown 427Cu inch Small Block Crate motor. The carb setup was ditched for better drivability and consists of a Holley Terminator EFI unit. A large Ron Davis Radiator takes care of the cooling, and a custom set of Long tube headers into 3 inch Turndown exhaust provide the Raucous. A Hughes 700R4 Transmission with Overdrive is linked to a Currie 9" Rear end with 3.73 Gearing. At the power level, stock brakes wouldn't suffice, so a complete BAER 6piston brake kit was installed on all four corners. a Baer master cylinder, and DCCP hydraulic booster provide the modern day brake feel. Suspension was completely revamped as well and now features a RideTech 4 Link Rear, with RideTech Coilover Shocks. a Wayne Du Subframe was installed upfront along side C5 Corvette A Arms and RideTech Coils to provide balanced handling.
Its not too difficult to find a 2nd Gen Camaro, but it is rare to find such tastefully built with over 75K invested in just the build, that has the looks of Classic American Muscle with the power, handling, braking, and comfort of A modern day Batmobile!
