1953 Chevrolet Handyman 150 was the base line model station-wagon for that year. This beauty is a daily runner and loves traveling at highway speeds. This car is currently not at car-show level, but it is almost there! The car is mechanically sound and runs well, but requires some small cosmetic repairs. The color is a 2-tone root-beer brown & cream. There is regular daily wear on the paint and body. Some body work is needed on the driver's door due to a parking lot collision, and one rear side window is cracked. The rear hatch works great and the rear seat bench folds easily for more space. The transmission was converted to be automatic. Both front tires will need to be replaced soon. The car is from southern California and has no major rust and no heater. The car has been with the same family for over 20 years. The odometer reads 87686, but it is unknown how many actual miles are on the engine, or if this is the original engine. The car is sold AS IS with no warranty. Shipping is not provided, but we will work with any UShip company that the buyer hires. The car can be stored for the buyer for no fee for a limited time after the purchase is completed. More photos can be provided upon request.
