build sheet to prove it!
Atlanta built Chevelle so the build sheet was glued to the door panels as usual. I am sure you know that a original build sheet can add thousands to the value of the car. I truly believe somewhere in the neighborhood of 3k to 5k more. Not only that but when you sell them, and we all do sooner than later, they sell much easier.
Every old car has a story so here is the one I got when I bought the car. I purchased it off a young man in is mid thirties and he stated the following. This car belonged to his dad for many years. His dad drag raced it and hurt the original engine. His dad had it painted in the late 80' or early 90's. At the same time he had the seats and carpet done. When the engine was damaged after the car was painted the car sat for a very long time. A friend of his dad's talked him into loaning him the hood for the friends Chevelle. He never got the original hood back. When I got the car it had an aftermarket hood and I replaced it with a GM Cowl Induction hood I have been saving for a long time. The car ended up with the son who had the engine -trans and mechanical stuff all done. He drove it a limited amount of time and then had to sell it.
The body is in good shape except the driver fender has some rust bubbling (I would replace it, but it maybe repairable). The other spots on the car are not rust but paint flaking off. The quarters have been replaced with 1/2 panels and it looks like they did a real nice job back 20 some years ago. They are still nice and straight. Trunk pan does have some holes cut for the fuel cell and some minor rust spots repaired.
Interior is nice however the seats and carpet are the wrong fabric. Dash is nice but it does have to small holes drilled in it. Look at the toggle switch by the radio and one real close to the steering column.
Drive train- This information was primarily given from previous owner but I believe it to be very accurate. 454 engine bored 60 over 468-compression ratio between 9.5 and 10. (pump gas compatible)- mild hyd camshaft with nice sounding lope-Hooker ceramic headers-Pete Jackson gear drive-its the quiet one-holley carb-Taylor wires-all new belts hoses ect. -stall converter-new posi unit with new 373 gears- This engine really runs very well and I think it pulls harder than it should. I would possibly consider buying it back. The previous owner did a complete brake job on it master cylinder-booster ect. All new wire harnesses under hood. The car runs and drives very easy.
What does the car need? Paint-drivers fender-seat covers and carpet-remove fuel cell and repair trunk-intake is to tall to accept a rubber gasket for air cleaner-it has no radio-cowl door flapper and actuator pod-rear sway bar-I am sure some other small stuff but as you can see its not that far away from being real nice.
Delivery maybe available up to 200 miles one way at $1.00 a loaded mile.
However you must call first. 765 206 0350 Steve.
Also included but not pictured are 4 correct 14" SS wheels -tires are junk however and new SS grill emblem as well as new SS fender emblems.
I reserve the right to end auction at anytime for the buy it now price of $21,500
I don't know how to say this any other way, I don't have to sell the car and I am not in any financial trouble. I know this car will sell once tax time rolls around if I still chose to let it go.

I have received this question more than once already. How are the floors? I put it on the lift and took a good look. I would say they are in very very good shape except for the common spot where the seam is under the drivers foot. Its not real bad but that the only spot i found. The underside is completely undetailed. I took a pic with my phone hope it turns out.
found some plastic in the bottom of the pass fender also but looks very usable. I don't mind the questions. I will try to answer sa soon as possible.
List of working and non working items
Working
dome light
Dash lights tho it appears a couple are burned out
aftermarket gauges and shifter lights
marker lights
turn signals-tho indicator lights in dash burned out
license plate light
generator light in dash
speedometer
wipers
Not Working
Fuel gauge fuel cell in trunk
blower motor works only on high and is slow and noisy
horns not hooked up in steering column
I have been asked about the mileage a couple times. The car shows 64K. The speedometer still works and the car reportedly sat for a long time so it could be accurate and the car appears to not be a high mileage car but I have no documents other than assumptions, so I make no representations as to mileage. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks
