Hello everyone,I'dlike to start by saying I'm not a car guy, meaning I am not amechanic that has theability to fix and talk shop, but i'll try my best to answer any questions.Maple runsbeautifuly. I've driven the West Coast surfing and camping along the way. You truly feel like you are living the California dream when you ride this classic.The only reason I'm selling it is because life has changed for me and it no longer fits. She needs to find her way into someones hands that willappreciate and take care of her the wayI did. I wasn't the first owner and I won't be the last.
Here is myattempt at telling you all thetechnicals. It is a 1968 chevy sports van G10 / Straight 6 engine. I had the whole engine remachined so it is like new. Over the years I also added a newtransmission, electric starter, gas tank, shocks, brakes, wheels, drivers seat, and I built out the inside with a comfy little bed with room for surfboards underneath. It uses a choke to start and needs about 5 min. to warm up. She has 56,071 miles on her. There are a couple rusted out places on the roof and small dings/scrapeson the side. The passenger seatupholsteryneeds to be replaced. Other then that she works great!
